Shrink PDF files in your browser. Choose a compression level, check the estimated size and download the result. Your file never leaves your device.
Each page becomes a JPEG image. Several pages download as one ZIP archive.

Before compressing, we sample the first pages and show the expected size for the chosen level.
No logos stamped on pages, no sign-up and no limit on the number of files.
If compression does not help, you get the original back rather than a bigger file.
Yes. The site is funded by ads. The maximum compression level unlocks after an optional short video.
There is no fixed limit; it depends on your device memory. Files up to 200 MB usually work on desktops and most phones.
At low levels the difference is barely visible. Higher levels soften images, but text and vector graphics stay sharp.
If a PDF is mostly text or its images are already well compressed, there is little to remove. In that case you get the original back rather than a bigger file.
No. Compression runs with Ghostscript compiled to WebAssembly inside your browser tab. The file never leaves your device, so we cannot see or store it.
No. Open the site in any modern browser, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Nothing to install, no sign-up.
Yes, on iPhone and Android. Large files take longer on phones, and the size limit depends on the free memory of the device.
We compress the first pages at the chosen level and project the size of the whole file from them. If pages differ a lot, the final size can differ slightly from the estimate.
Use 0–30 for print, 40–60 for email and on-screen reading, and 70+ for upload portals with strict size limits. The estimate below the slider shows the result right away.
Levels above 70 bring images down to about 72–100 dpi and use stronger JPEG compression. That is fine for reading on screen but may be too low for printing photos.
Yes. We never turn pages into images: text, fonts and vector graphics stay as they are, and only pictures are re-encoded.
Usually yes; Ghostscript carries over hyperlinks and the outline. Interactive form fields may lose editability, so fill in forms before compressing.
Compression rebuilds the file, so a digital signature becomes invalid. Sign the document after compressing it.
Files with an open password are not supported. Remove the password in the app you set it in, then compress the file.
Files are processed one at a time for now. There is no limit on how many: after downloading, press “Compress another file”.
Yes. Switch “Output format” to JPEG: every page becomes an image, and several pages download as one ZIP archive.
After adding a file, tap a use case: government portals, a resume, printing or email. We compute the level for your file, such as the best quality that still fits under 1 MB.
Once the page has loaded, the compression engine lives in your browser, so processing is local. You only need a connection to open the site.
Merge several PDFs into one, split a PDF into pages or ranges, turn JPG and PNG images into a PDF, save pages as JPG or PNG, and extract text. Everything runs in your browser and files are never uploaded.
